A nostalgic throwback to the comics, and the Singapore, of the ‘80s, Crimson Star is a local venture unlike any other: creating an icon for Singaporeans by Singaporeans.

​Crimson Star is the beginning of our initiative to bring Singaporean talents to the attention of local audiences. While Singapore has made headway in the global comic scene in the past few years, we intend to feature more homegrown talents working on locally created content written primarily for a local audience.

• Crimson Star is Singapore's first foray into a comic book that's made for Singaporeans, by Singaporeans, set between the late 80's and the early 90's.

• Our book works with a model that will create professional opportunities for many Singaporean artists, by featuring a different art team every three issues of the comic. This is especially important in Singapore, where many are hesitant to explore their artistic passions professionally, consequentially lacking much of a portfolio. ​

• Additionally, Crimson Star is working toward making comic books and fun reading accessible again. We fight for the cause of increasing the accessibility of quality reading products again, by working towards placing Crimson Star comics in convenience stores and bookstores alike, at an all-affordable cost of $3 (so no one will have to skip lunches). Not to mention, what better way to talk about morality than with comic books and movies?
